Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, followed by follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems; use test instruments and road tests to verify malfunctions and proper operation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections, and manage parts inventory with periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document work per company standards by uploading photos, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders using the company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.
  • •Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner, manage concurrent tasks by prioritizing work, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination including degree/certification beyond HS/GED or 5 years’ related experience.
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools required for the role.
  • •Must be able to pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical, or submit a DOT medical card with more than four months remaining validity.
  • •Be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license.
