Key Responsibilities

  • •Provides direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatments.
  • •Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to support an optimal discharge plan and coordinates care plans and treatment schedules with healthcare professionals.
  • •Educates patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and provides emotional support and counselling.
  • •Maintains accurate medical records and documentation of patient care, treatments, and outcomes, and communicates effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families.
  • •Participates in clinical research trials, supports infection control and pain management practices, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and stays current through ongoing professional development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum of three (3) years full-time course duration) or a nursing degree (minimum two (2) years) with Registered Nurse registration.
  • •Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
  • •Valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • •Minimum valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • •Minimum of five (5) years of recent post-graduate experience in the related specialty; postgraduate degree in Nurse Management/Advanced Clinical Specialty preferred.
