Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis for new product mechanical assembly, and drive for non-compliance closure.
  • •Work with Design Engineering and suppliers to drive closure of mechanical assembly or process related issues.
  • •Work with Design Engineering and suppliers to develop new BE (Backend) processes / technology.
  • •Develop suppliers to provide best in class manufacturing processes to support new product manufacturing requirements.
  • •Hands-on experience in product mechanical failures troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing processes.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Candidate must possess at least a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
  • •Mechanical assembly process experience and familiarity with assembly jig / fixture design.
  • •Familiar with poka-yoke design and Design for Assembly guidelines / design rules.
  • •Familiar with statistical tools such as pFMEA, SPC, DOE.
  • •Willingness for domestic and international travel (when applicable).
