Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver dermatology outpatient consultation services, evaluating patients with skin diseases daily.
  • •Provide dermatology inpatient consultation services and admit patients requiring inpatient dermatology care, assuming their care.
  • •Provide on-call emergency coverage for dermatologic emergencies and perform dermatologic procedures (e.g., PUVA therapy, skin biopsy, cryosurgery, electrocautery, chemical peeling, curettage, excision).
  • •Monitor and manage clinical risks, ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • •Support continuous professional development and maintain OSH/PCI practices, including risk assessments, safety reporting, hand hygiene expectations, and participation in audits/committees.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
  • •At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
  • •Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS/NRP) and eligibility for healthcare authority registration (e.g., Royal College/Arab Board/MS/DM/MPhil or equivalent).
