Key Responsibilities

  • •Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence, and processes for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies; leads manufacturing engineering projects as required.
  • •Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate product improvement/new product releases and manages manufacturing engineering ePLC deliverables.
  • •Launches, releases, approves, and implements engineering change requests to support design engineering and floor for existing and new products.
  • •Estimates manufacturing cost and time standards; makes tooling and process recommendations; drives DFx efforts to reduce costs and improve delivered product quality.
  • •Develops test procedures, performs root cause analysis for assembly/test issues, evaluates work methods/processes, mentors/train lower-level engineers, and performs Process FMEA during new product development.
