Job Summary

Maintain plant equipment and facilities to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair machinery such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and compressors to minimize downtime. Perform routine inspections and upkeep tasks across HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and grounds. Follow LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs, support OSHA/EPA compliance, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams on installations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain key machinery and systems (pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors) through regular checks and prompt repairs to minimize downtime.
•Maintain a clean and safe facility, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance (mowing and snow removal).
•Ensure safety and compliance by following safety protocols, LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, and GMPs; conduct checks and adhere to OSHA and EPA/health standards.
•Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve problems, improve performance, and participate in training; communicate across departments.
•Assist with installing new equipment and complete special projects to improve efficiency, safety, and plant operations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.05 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years of direct experience.
•Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including reading and executing work orders and translating equipment manuals.
