Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical advice and assistance across aircraft performance engineering, including aircraft performance, weight and balance, and engine out procedures.
  • •Maintain and update regulated takeoff, en-route, and landing performance, including configuration of electronic performance tools and NOTAM assessment.
  • •Monitor and analyze flight planning system and route performance data for adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with rules, procedures, and company manuals.
  • •Support weight and balance work, including AHM560/565 data construction and validation and reweigh calculation and validation.
  • •Assess and evaluate new routes/destinations for safe and efficient operation, including safety risk assessment and technical feasibility evaluation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in comparable airlines or aircraft manufacturer operations/engineering (approved or licensed Engineer/Flight Dispatcher), preferably with a low-cost airline.
  • •Must have completed “Performance Engineering” training from Airbus or other manufacturer.
  • •Deep understanding of the software development process and applicable performance engineering tools (e.g., Performance Center and diagnostic tools).
  • •Broad performance engineering tool experience (e.g., Wily, Compuware, IBM-Filenet/WebSphere Portal, dynaTrace, HP).
  • •Knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., Civil Aviation Authorities, ICAO, CAR, FAR, JAR) and flight operations practices, with strong data analysis and accurate attention to detail.
