Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end with outcomes and metrics, and maintain a backlog prioritized by value, risk, dependency, and strategic priority.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering across money-movement correctness, rail-down behavior, failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, especially when challenged by engineering, compliance, or ops leads.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as product inputs, covering licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and data residency/privacy.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation strategy, and failure handling; ensure AI numbers trace to real records.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgement and decisiveness under ambiguity.
  • •Solid system design foundation, including understanding of boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, and failure modes under concurrency.
  • •Ability to read and challenge design docs and sketch architecture/sequence for engineering teams.
  • •Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain (e.g., payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or strong ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Hands-on experience with LLM-based products, including defining evaluation approaches and designing realistic failure/guardrails.
