Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools in line with contracts, corporate guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • •Investigate claim damages by coordinating with insureds, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, including potential face-to-face interactions.
  • •Review facts of loss and vehicle damage to determine subrogation opportunities and ensure required physical damage documentation is included.
  • •Assess claims and suppliers for fraud indicators and refer matters to the Special Investigations Unit when applicable.
  • •Maintain accurate claim file documentation and support productivity through effective desk management, follow-ups, and coordinated repair plan/timeline mapping, including CAT support and possible on-call work.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution, and claim appraisal processes.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
