Key Responsibilities

  • •Modify and/or adapt K12 curriculum to meet state content standards and unique student needs.
  • •Deliver individualized and small-group ELA instruction in collaboration with general education teachers.
  • •Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system, including data collection, progress monitoring, and intervention planning.
  • •Serve as a resource on RTI issues to school administrators and stakeholders, and coordinate Tier 2 interventions with relevant staff.
  • •Provide ongoing training and support on RTI/data collection procedures and work with special education to facilitate eligibility.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 47,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Michigan Elementary Teaching Certification required with an ELA/English endorsement.
  • •Bachelor’s degree and an active state teaching license.
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data to drive instructional decisions.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new technologies and K12 teaching platforms.
