Job Summary

Design and implement AI security capabilities and identity and access management features that help customers securely bring sensitive data and workloads to Snowflake. Build fine-grained authorization frameworks for large-scale user and object access, integrate next-generation identity providers and authentication protocols, and deliver secure data sharing and external application access. Lead large projects and uphold high-quality engineering through strong design and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement AI security capabilities for controlled, audited, restricted agent workflows (inbound and outbound).
•Build identity and access management features, including integration with next-generation identity providers and authentication protocols.
•Create authorization frameworks for fine-grained access control at large scale across millions of objects and users.
•Design and develop secure data sharing and access to Snowflake-hosted applications, including via external applications.
•Lead and deliver large projects, guiding teams and partners through code and design reviews while maintaining high technical quality.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 287,500 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production, including large-scale cloud services.
•Deep knowledge of identity and access management (authentication/authorization) and security concepts and protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, Federation, and RBAC.
•Experience with database systems and database internals, including query engines and optimizers.
•Strong fundamental computer science skills.
•Strong development skills in Java, C# or C++ (preferred) and an advanced degree in computer science or related field.
