Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Render’s top accounts as their dedicated technical partner, providing concierge service across architecture reviews, migration planning, and delivery.
  • •Run onboarding intensives for high-growth startups from intake and success criteria through hands-on execution.
  • •Lead the database side of customer engagements, including Postgres architecture, performance tuning, and complex data migrations.
  • •Drive activation and expansion by turning credit grants into durable production adoption and working with the account team on revenue expansion.
  • •Own ongoing technical relationships for accounts, including proactive health and architecture reviews, incident follow-up with RCA, and escalation for hard problems.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role (forward deployed, solutions, customer, or professional services engineering).
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to write production-quality code and work hands-on inside a customer’s codebase.
  • •Deep experience with cloud infrastructure, including containers, CI/CD, networking, autoscaling, and running production workloads.
  • •Deep Postgres and database expertise, including schema design, performance tuning, replication, and production data migrations.
  • •AI fluency to guide LLM application architecture and accelerate delivery using AI tools daily.
