Key Responsibilities

  • •Exercise safe driving practices to protect the public and ensure secure transport of live poultry.
  • •Comply with DOT safety rules and regulations, company policies, and local/state/federal laws.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections including tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, and hoses.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading trailers as necessary and ensure secure loads before movement.
  • •Maintain required documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight) and clean/wash the truck as needed; report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A CDL with a 3-year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT), state, and federal laws.
  • •Minimum 21 years of age.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
