Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the required curriculum and plan and deliver quality lessons to motivate students.
  • •Assess, record and report on the academic development, progress and attainment of students and use assessment to tailor the curriculum to individual needs.
  • •Display competence in using media and technology in the classroom and maintain records of curriculum and year plans.
  • •Participate in CPD, appraisal and performance management, and contribute to co-curricular and pastoral programmes.
  • •Communicate with parents regularly and collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and school events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor and Master (Biology) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • •Excellent classroom management skills
  • •Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
  • •UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments
