Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain wet process equipment (wet chemical texturing and preclean tools) for silicon heterojunction solar cell manufacturing at high volume.
  • •Install, qualify, maintain, and continuously improve high-throughput texturing and preclean equipment with facilities and process engineering teams.
  • •Drive equipment reliability and uptime by running experiments, analyzing data, improving capacity (UPH), reducing variation, and improving defect performance.
  • •Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, spare parts programs, and tool matching protocols for high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on equipment issues, including chemical delivery systems, pumps, filtration, temperature control, automation/robotics, wet benches, and exhaust/abatement systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience owning and maintaining chemical process equipment in a high-volume semiconductor, solar manufacturing, or related environment.
  • •Experience handling flammable, toxic, corrosive, and/or hazardous chemicals and gases safely.
  • •Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and work in cleanroom environments while moving between multiple production areas.
  • •Must be eligible under ITAR export regulations (e.g., U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident/green card holder, refugee/asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations).
