Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, management, and coordination for all areas and people under your control to deliver Part 145 products and/or services.
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and contractual requirements, including maintaining Part 145 documentation and airworthiness records.
  • •Set delivery targets, monitor progress, and develop performance improvement programmes while handling escalated issues impacting continuing airworthiness.
  • •Lead and apply the Safety Management System (Human Factors, error management, risk management, safety assurance) and support safety hazard impact management.
  • •Plan and manage shifts and resources, ensure competent/authorised personnel perform maintenance tasks, and provide support for audits and improvement implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of an engineering apprenticeship (e.g., City & Guilds 2675 or 2661) or an engineering degree in a relevant discipline (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic, or other aircraft maintenance/continuing airworthiness relevant field).
  • •5 years practical experience applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • •2 years relevant supervisory-level work experience within the aircraft maintenance environment exercising certifying privileges.
  • •6 months type experience within the last two years.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) documentation set.
