Key Responsibilities

  • •Train hourly operators and team leaders on lean tools and processes.
  • •Lead and coach visual workplace improvements through the 5S process (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain).
  • •Conduct cycle time analyses and time studies, including line balance improvements and workplace analysis.
  • •Identify and eliminate process obstacles with site personnel and assist in change of systems/processes for Lean initiatives.
  • •Co-facilitate Lean projects (RIEs and “just do-it’s”), support onboarding/training, and update visual performance tools (including mission control and MDI boards).

Key Requirements

  • •Previously worked in a position of leadership.
  • •Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills for site-level audiences.
  • •Knowledge and practice of Lean tools, including experience conducting time studies, cycle counts, and line balance improvements.
  • •Ability to train and coach others on lean tools and processes.
  • •High school education required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in a production environment preferred.
