Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct frontier AI research and develop FuriosaAI’s own AI models.
  • •Build and improve agentic LLM research, including coding and tool-use tasks.
  • •Develop and implement an asynchronous RL post-training pipeline for LLM rollout-heavy workloads using FuriosaAI’s NPU.
  • •Collaborate with overseas research institutions to expand research capability and networks.
  • •Translate research outcomes into model/system implementations for global AI impact.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Have a master’s degree in an AI-related field or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience developing AI technology using major deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • •No disqualifying reasons for overseas business travel.
  • •Preferred: have led top-tier conference paper publications in ML/CV/NLP.
  • •Preferred: have a PhD or 2+ years of industry experience in AI research and development.
