Handle carrier inquiries and dispatch third-party carriers to move inventory on time at fair cost. Evaluate pickup and delivery requests, assign carriers, and coordinate track-and-trace route updates. Resolve logistics problems with carriers, negotiate rates and terms, and reconcile delivery information with inventory reports. Perform operational admin tasks like securing gate passes and vehicle tags, while qualifying carriers on calls to support additional routes and “Carrier Ops.”
