Job Summary

Own the design, build, and optimization of multi-channel journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Translate marketing strategies into scalable, compliant, measurable campaigns while developing integrations and dynamic content using AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL. Model audiences in Contact Builder/Data Designer, implement deliverability and privacy best practices, and set up tracking and reporting with analytics tools. Lead code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD, partnering across marketing, CRM, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and optimize multi-channel journeys on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, translating marketing strategies into measurable campaigns.
•Develop dynamic content and integrations using AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL, including segmentation and data extension queries.
•Model audience data in Contact Builder/Data Designer, managing keys, relationships, and preference centers.
•Build and secure integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and SFTP/ETL pipelines; establish deliverability, compliance, and privacy best practices.
•Implement tracking, attribution, and reporting, and lead code reviews, performance tuning, release planning, and CI/CD while documenting solutions and coaching junior teammates.

Key Requirements

•5+ years hands-on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and experience across SFMC Studios/Builders and data architecture for large-scale programs.
•Strong AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL skills, including segmentation, data extensions, and comfort working with API tools (e.g., Postman) and JSON.
•Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM or other systems (identity, ecommerce, data lakes/CDPs).
•Working knowledge of email/mobile deliverability, template systems, and asset management.
•Solid understanding of SDLC, source control, environment strategy, and QA/automation; strong communication in an Agile context.
