Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and respond to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members across plan and product topics.
  • •Interpret and apply changes/enhancements to new and old products using daily change communications; identify underlying customer needs and provide consultative expertise.
  • •Document conversations and follow processes that support knowing the member and deepening relationships.
  • •Ensure compliance with FINRA or other professional licensure requirements, Nationwide policies, firm plan documents, and applicable state/local laws.
  • •Educate customers on tax implications, penalties/surrender charges, death benefit protection, lifetime income, and capital preservation/plan benefits; resolve issues or escalate as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •NF ISS Life Solutions Center experience.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred in finance, business administration, insurance, economics, or communications.
  • •One year of experience in customer service and/or sales-related occupations.
  • •Ability to follow FINRA rules and applicable state and local laws and understand insurance products and the sales process.
  • •Preferred/required industry licenses and designations (including FINRA series 6 and/or 26, and/or ChFC/CLU) based on assigned product/line-of-business.
