Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as owner and leader of the shift and equipment to keep the manufacturing center running.
  • •Operate and maintain critical power generation equipment including turbines, boilers, chillers, and co-generation systems.
  • •Manage related systems such as compressed air, vacuum, and process water systems.
  • •Support water treatment systems and perform permit compliance testing.
  • •Help ensure efficient operations that meet performance goals and maintain product quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess and maintain a current Commonwealth of Massachusetts Second-Class Engineering License.
  • •Have at least 3 years’ experience in operations and/or maintenance of major power plant equipment.
  • •Demonstrate understanding and experience with compressed air systems, chillers, turbines, boilers, RO, and sea water/process water/waste water systems.
  • •Be willing to work any assigned shift and rotate as needed (including weekends/overtime).
  • •Wear required safety PPE and meet physical requirements such as lifting 50 pounds and working in confined spaces.
