Job Summary

Support manufacturing operations as an entry-level Automation Technician on a rotating AM/PM crew schedule. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment, assist with equipment installation and MES integration, and keep process tool electrical drawings current. Implement controls-related software upgrades, document and present solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects, and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Support manufacturing facilities, including remote support of worldwide manufacturing facilities.
•Troubleshoot, repair, problem-solve, and maintain electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
•Assist with coordination of new equipment installation and implementation, including MES integration events.
•Maintain and update manufacturing process tool electrical drawings, documenting equipment changes and keeping drawings current.
•Implement controls engineering software changes/upgrades and identify, document, and present solutions for control problems and continuous improvement projects.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 26.97 - 38.46 hourly

Key Requirements

•2+ years of manufacturing equipment electrical/electronic/controls experience.
•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Controls, or Electronic Engineering (preferred); or 5+ years verifiable related experience without a degree.
•Ability to independently manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and interpret data to support troubleshooting.
•Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and make modification suggestions when required.
•Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems in a manufacturing environment (including PLC/HMI and control networks).
