Key Responsibilities

  • •Mentor and support a distributed engineering team through regular 1:1s, constructive feedback, and tailored career growth plans.
  • •Create an inclusive, trusting, psychologically safe environment that encourages open communication and shared ownership.
  • •Partner with Product and UX to turn product strategy into milestones and guide the continuous development of Studio, Creative Editor, and browser ad players.
  • •Drive the rollout of an AI-assisted design agent and real-time scoring system, encouraging experimentation and shared learning.
  • •Ensure operational excellence by aligning across the full-stack ecosystem, removing blockers, and coordinating with cross-functional partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience leading and supporting software engineers as a manager, team lead, or mentor, or senior/principal engineer experience with a strong desire to transition into management.
  • •Strong understanding of modern web ecosystems and comfort navigating frontend (TypeScript, Angular, or React) and backend (Node.js, Scala or similar) systems.
  • •Experience translating product strategy into actionable engineering milestones while balancing feature development with platform stability.
  • •Strong collaborative communication in English, with empathy and active listening to solve problems with cross-functional partners.
  • •Experience supporting distributed collaboration practices and maintaining a connected team across engineering hubs.
