Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the subject matter expert for technical revenue accounting, including ASC 606 and ASC 842, and document GAAP positions.
  • •Lead technical accounting for non-standard transactions, including contract analysis for key accounting implications.
  • •Own key aspects of the month-end close for assigned revenue streams, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
  • •Act as a key point of contact for external auditors by preparing documentation and communicating accounting treatments.
  • •Coach the team and operationalize revenue accounting processes for billing, collections, and financial reporting, including controls and automation efforts.
