Location: Taiwan
Workplace: Hybrid
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Standardize JDM quality governance by aligning internal engineering specs with partner control plans, establishing FPY baselines, and deploying reporting dashboards.
  • •Lead flawless EMS factory migrations by ensuring 100% replication and validation of critical tooling, fixtures, and testing stations to achieve site qualification with zero critical quality escapes.
  • •Stabilize post-migration line performance within 4–6 weeks by driving resolution of early bottlenecks and bringing first-pass yield to baseline.
  • •Conduct rigorous quality and 8D reviews to challenge weak explanations, perform deep root-cause analysis, and ensure permanent, data-backed CAPAs.
  • •Translate internal R&D specifications into operator-ready control plans and embed manufacturing insights/DFX principles into design reviews to help next-gen products scale.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years navigating external manufacturing partners (JDM, ODM, or EMS) and their on-the-ground dynamics without having direct authority.
  • •Practical mastery of core quality tools and techniques (e.g., PFMEA, gage R&R, error logs) to audit issues and enforce accountability.
  • •Ability to translate ambiguous internal engineering specifications into objective, foolproof control plans for shop-floor execution.
  • •Strong data and analytics capability to analyze manufacturing metrics, plot yield trends, and identify hidden risks before they cause returns or shipment delays.
  • •Willingness to be hands-on—review limit samples, inspect line feeds, and travel to the site when necessary.
