Job Summary

Provide high-level leadership and strategic oversight for major power delivery construction programs, guiding complex execution, resolving critical field issues, and advising senior leadership and clients on delivery strategies. Oversee construction management scope for IOU/utility power delivery projects, support project quality, manage site personnel safety, and coordinate schedules, change management, and outage planning. Lead workforce efforts across the client service territory and support EPC proposal, risk, cost, and constructability reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic oversight and alignment of field operations with contract execution for IOU/utility power delivery construction programs.
•Support management of the Project Quality Program and ensure site personnel follow safety requirements.
•Build, lead, and manage an internal workforce across multiple projects within the client’s service territory.
•Review and advise on EPC contractor proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, invoices, resource plans, risk contingencies, and QA/QC plan adherence.
•Serve as mediator between client and contractors, manage construction progress/change/schedule, and resolve critical project issues and disputes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management (or closely related discipline) or equivalent proven experience.
•15+ years of relevant post-education construction management experience.
•Proven success leading large, complex construction programs in public and private sector environments.
•Expertise in construction delivery methods, contract administration/compliance, and advising on strategic project risks.
•Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud, plus OSHA 30-hour safety certification.
