Job Summary

Lead the Advanced E-7 Electrical Power System Engineering effort by developing and documenting electrical system requirements for primary (EPGS) and secondary (SPDS) power. Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware designs, and interface specifications; validate designs through testing; and oversee supplier performance for integration and compliance. Troubleshoot fielded hardware/software across the product lifecycle, author/update key interface and specification drawings, and support FAA certification activities. Position is 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for EPGS and SPDS components and software.
•Lead and coordinate analysis to translate requirements into system architecture, hardware designs, and interface specifications.
•Lead testing and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
•Oversee monitoring of supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements across development and production.
•Troubleshoot Advanced E-7 EPGS/SPDS systems, update Specification Control Drawings (SCDs), Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and support FAA certification activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work.
•9+ years of experience in Electrical engineering.
•Experience compiling Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), Interface Control Documents (ICD), and System Definition Document (SDD).
•Experience with Functional Schematic drafting & design.
•Ability to obtain and maintain requirements for U.S. Secret clearance as described (interim and/or final Secret post-start).
