Job Summary

Provide on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair support for complex semiconductor processing equipment. Partner with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge processes and run hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOEs), including statistical data analysis and technical reporting. Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analyses, and resolve difficult process and product problems while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems and equipment.
•Work closely with customers to develop leading-edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips.
•Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics, and compile reports with high-level conclusions.
•Troubleshoot complex problems, perform multiple root cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and customer product issues.
•Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve goals; serve as a liaison between the customer and business unit and may lead small projects.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
•4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and build consensus among stakeholders.
•Proficiency communicating in English.
•Master’s degree or PhD in a related field (preferred).
