Job Summary

Senior-level project management role leading MEPFP design teams (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) on healthcare and laboratory renovation and new-build projects in New York. Key Responsibilities

•Lead MEPFP project teams from inception through completion, coordinating multi-disciplinary design and construction activities.
•Provide technical oversight for trade disciplines with emphasis on HVAC or electrical engineering design.
•Develop and implement project work plans, budgets, and schedules; obtain management/client approval.
•Maintain regular client communication on status and quality; proactively resolve issues and manage expectations.
•Develop and manage project safety and quality control plans; oversee invoicing, risk management, and change management as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical), or closely related discipline.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in design, construction, and project management in healthcare and laboratory related projects.
•At least 3 years of the above experience as an assistant project manager or project manager for projects above $5M in construction cost.
•Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams as a subconsultant and/or prime consultant.
•Proficiency in project planning, risk management, cost and schedule management, and reporting on financial KPIs; strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work in a dynamic environment.
