Job Summary

Gas turbine controls engineer responsible for hardware and software design, logic implementation, testing and deployment of control retrofit systems for gas turbines. Collaborates across a team to deliver Ovation-based control solutions, develops and tests control loops, BOMs, and network architecture, and supports vendor selection and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute Hardware & Software Controls engineering.
•Implement the Ovation control logic and graphics for the Gas Turbine control system.
•Develop & test closed loops, open loops and protection loops for GT.
•Technical evaluation of bid for specifications.
•Develop/review Bill of materials, network architecture, GA drawings

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control & Instrumentation, power or Electronics / Electrical engineering
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Gas Turbine Control System hardware and software development, implementation, testing and validation
•Experience with major turbine manufacturers or turbine controls vendors
•Gas Turbine control algorithm knowledge (Fuel Governor, Sequencing, Auxiliaries, etc.)
•Proficiency with configuring database, logic and HMIs of DCS platforms (e.g. Emerson Ovation, ABB/Bailey INFI 90, Siemens T3000, GE Mark V/VI)
