Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a wide variety of foundry duties following standard procedures and/or work instructions.
  • •Transport materials, castings, and equipment using a fork truck or payloader.
  • •Use rough grinding and power tools to remove parting lines, gates, risers, flash, and other surface defects.
  • •Operate molding and cleaning equipment, including automatic molding machines, bandsaw operations, power vac, dump and shakeout molds, and shot blast cleaning.
  • •Perform minor maintenance, fill small cavities to Q.C. standards, detect and report defects, and follow safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Minimum of 3 months manufacturing experience.
  • •Ability to read and follow instructions, including using and reading fixed gauges and other instruments that do not require interpretation.

  • •Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations and report defective materials.
