Job Summary

Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and solution support for complex customer cases across Security and Networking technologies. Act as an early adopter of tools and processes, collaborate with customers, partners, engineering, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution and continuous improvement, and contribute to product quality through escalations, bug reporting, and quality reviews. Build and share lab setups and intellectual capital, leverage TAC AI, automation, and diagnostic tools, and mentor peers including junior TCEs.

Key Responsibilities

•Support premium offers and provide solution support by applying deep technical expertise to resolve advanced customer issues.
•Operate independently on complex cases, focusing on evaluation and analysis to prevent future problems.
•Submit effective engineering escalations, identify pervasive bugs and systemic issues, and advise peers on engineering engagement.
•Leverage TAC AI capabilities, software, automation, and diagnostic tools to improve quality, efficiency, and troubleshooting outcomes.
•Build reusable lab setups and intellectual capital, adopt TAC processes/tools, and mentor peers (including junior TCEs).

Key Requirements

•Bachelors with 7+ years of related experience, or Masters with 4+ years, or PhD with 1+ year, or equivalent relevant experience.
•Expert level (e.g., CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification expected.
•Advanced troubleshooting capability to resolve complex, diverse cases through in-depth evaluation and analysis.
•Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, functional specs, and RFCs and apply expected product behavior.
•Experience supporting Cisco products and solutions through configuration, deployment, and/or troubleshooting.
