Job Summary

Serve as a highly technical advisor on the Defense team, collaborating with sales and account partners to present and support Esri GIS solutions. Build subject-matter expertise in Defense and technical expertise in ArcGIS, translating customer challenges into GIS strategies and tailored solution demonstrations. Support solution design and best practices for deployment and administration while presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, including at conferences and trade shows.

•Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team while helping execute sales strategies.
•Develop expertise in Defense and ArcGIS, communicating Esri technologies and messages clearly to customers.
•Proactively craft and propose GIS solutions that clarify business value and align Esri technology with customer needs.
•Design and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including at conferences and trade shows.
•Provide best practices related to the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology and help troubleshoot customer issues.

•1+ years supporting the Defense space.

•Experience with technical consulting, conceptual solution design, and an understanding of sales and business development processes.
•Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology; cloud concepts with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
