Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise employees involved in production and/or operation functions including assembly, inspection, test, and final test for manufacturing capital equipment and components.
  • •Prioritize production schedules based on available manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
  • •Track and support operational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle time performance and other metrics.
  • •Ensure timely responses to operations issues affecting customer satisfaction, support establishment of customer/vendor requirements, and initiate corrective actions.
  • •Oversee accident prevention, ensure EHS training for all department employees, and manage performance and employee development plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated understanding of procedures and concepts within the operations job family and related job families.
  • •Formal supervisory responsibilities, including setting priorities for employees and coaching them to meet daily deadlines.
  • •Experience prioritizing production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
  • •Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training, safety policies, procedures, and compliance monitoring.
  • •Ability to analyze operational and cost-of-quality opportunities, drive corrective action, and support process and quality improvements.
