Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoots, repairs/rebuilds, and performs preventive maintenance on plant and equipment including, but not limited to, pumps/pumping systems, pneumatic controls, manual and actuated valves, agitators/seals, and motor bearings.
  • •Demonstrates proficiency with the operation and maintenance of the plant utility equipment, to include air handling units HVAC, hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, environmental sensors, coolers, boilers, air compressors, and substations.
  • •Operates machine shop equipment to include drill press, grinder, milling machine, gas and electric welder, and power cutting tools.
  • •Overhauls and installs new equipment.
  • •Diagnoses mechanical/electrical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints/schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary

Key Requirements

  • •A vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical or maintenance related field or equivalent in experience and education.
  • •1 or more years of related on-the-job experience.
  • •Ability to work training/orientation hours Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM for 4 weeks.
  • •Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environment preferred.
