Key Responsibilities

  • •Create collaborative initiatives with Eaton divisions, technology organizations, and external research partners to develop government-funded programs.
  • •Identify funding sources and develop pursuit strategies, working with technical, legal, and finance teams to draft and win proposals.
  • •Develop extensive knowledge of Eaton businesses, strategies, customers, markets, and relevant technology and product roadmaps to uncover future opportunities.
  • •Build and leverage internal and external networks to engage decision-makers and enhance the competitiveness of government R&D proposals and projects.
  • •Uncover innovative ideas with potential for significant organic growth and translate complex technology into effective, targeted messages.

Key Requirements

  • •MBA or MS or PhD in a technical field.
  • •At least 8 years of relevant experience, with a verifiable record of winning projects, agency work, and contacts.
  • •Extensive knowledge of government functions, processes, organizational structures, and funding mechanisms (EU funding, German national funding; UK experience is a plus).
  • •In-depth understanding of value creation through government R&D programs, including assessing and communicating value and risks of proposals.
  • •Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
