Job Summary

Ensure safety compliance and product quality for dry-mix concrete at the plant level. Conduct routine testing of products and aggregates per ASTM standards to support compliance and potential new formulas. Inspect and approve incoming raw materials, follow established specifications and processes, observe plant equipment for safe operations, and prepare required reports for Oldcastle or relevant agencies. Maintain EH&S compliance and support sales sampling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure overall safety compliance and quality for dry-mix concrete products at the plant level.
•Test product formulations and run routine testing of products and aggregates per ASTM standards.
•Inspect, test, and approve incoming raw materials.
•Provide samples for sales as needed and follow established specifications and processes.
•Inspect plant equipment and activities for safe processes, prepare required reports, and maintain EH&S regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

•High school degree required; associates degree preferred.
•Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.

•Experience with lab and testing procedures, and/or safety programs and compliance (preferred).
•Must be detail-oriented and able to problem-solve; ability to perform physical demands (bending/standing/lifting) as described.
