Job Summary

Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently at job sites, including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, loaders, and related machinery. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, load and unload materials, and support tasks like trenching, backfilling, grading, and site work for buildings, roads, and bridges. Work according to company policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements, reporting issues to supervisors promptly.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures.
•Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment prior to use.
•Report any equipment issues or concerns to a supervisor immediately.
•Load and unload materials onto/from trucks, trailers, and vehicles using appropriate machinery.
•Operate equipment to move earth, clear debris, level land, dig trenches/holes, backfill, and support site construction activities.

Key Requirements

•Must be 18 years of age or older.
•Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures, including OSHA and/or MSHA compliance and wearing required PPE.
•Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
•Knowledge of aggregate/asphalt and earth-moving equipment, including trenching and shoring standards, is preferred (CDL preferred).
