Key Responsibilities

  • •Write software to operate real autonomous aircraft systems (including group 1-5 UAVs) and simulated models for tactical military missions.
  • •Build, leverage, and improve aerial autonomy software architectures that are tested and deployed on real systems.
  • •Develop and adapt GNC algorithms to meet the requirements of different UAS programs, making capabilities reusable across programs.
  • •Collaborate with third-party UAS vehicle vendors to develop and integrate aerial autonomy software onto OEM hardware.
  • •Support flight testing and data analysis to validate and refine GNC capabilities.

Salary: USD 100,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Aerospace, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • •6+ years of hands-on experience developing GNC software for autonomous systems.
  • •Experience developing autonomy algorithms in C++.
  • •Experience developing or implementing outer-loop control systems and/or path planning algorithms.
  • •Experience with flight testing and performing data analysis.
