Job Summary

Help build open standards for verifiable AI agents as part of a six-month, paid, part-time, fully remote fellowship. You’ll contribute real work to agent governance tracks covering agent identity, protecting models and data during execution, and cryptographic evidence of agent behavior. Ship at least one merged PR or spec contribution plus a public technical artifact, and participate in weekly 1:1s and monthly cohort sessions.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to one home track for open standards for verifiable AI agents.
•Protect models and data during execution and develop cryptographic evidence of agent behavior.
•Ship at least one merged PR or spec contribution.
•Publish one public technical artifact such as a blog, spec document, or conference talk.
•Meet weekly 1:1 with the program leader and participate in monthly cohort sessions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 30,000 - 50,000

Key Requirements

•Security engineering experience with red-teamed agentic systems, with an interest in building containment layers.
•PhD student or postdoc experience in formal verification, distributed systems, or attestation.
•Ability to translate AI governance and compliance needs into machine-executable policy.
•Ability to submit a 2-page proposal grounded in a specific repository and reference an open issue or spec gap.
•Experience contributing to an open ecosystem (e.g., issues, PRs, discussions) and including a GitHub handle for review.
