Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the full lifecycle of USSOCOM collective training and readiness events for joint and multinational scenarios.
  • •Provide governance/advisory support with readiness insight, decision support, and integration guidance for command-level planning.
  • •Recommend improvements to planning systems, battle rhythm flows, information routing, and risk logic; track readiness trends over time.
  • •Advise and mentor CCMD/TSOC staff to represent SOF context in realistic scenarios across mission sets, warfighting functions, and multi-domain operations using LVC tools.
  • •Develop and maintain joint readiness and assessment outputs including UJTL/JMETL application, AARs, readiness assessments, and training improvement plans; provide real-time and post-event recommendations.

Salary: USD 110,693 - 188,495 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • •12+ years of SOF experience and experience in primary roles at USSOCOM, TSOC, Service HQ, Joint Staff, or OSW.
  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years planning and executing joint exercises using JTS.
  • •Directly brief/advice O-5 through GO/FO and apply joint readiness and assessment functions (UJTL/JMETL, joint doctrine, AARs, and readiness assessment).
