Key Responsibilities

  • •Process daily teller transactions, including deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, checks, cashier’s checks, and savings bond redemptions.
  • •Answer client questions in person and over the telephone, and complete special client requests such as account closures, check ordering, foreign currency exchange, and safe-deposit box procedures.
  • •Identify basic cross-sell and referral opportunities by determining client needs and directing clients to a banker.
  • •Reconcile the cash drawer by verifying transactions, counting and packaging currency/coin, submitting excess or mutilated currency, and maintaining appropriate cash supplies.
  • •Maintain compliance with bank operations and security procedures, including dual-control functions and confidentiality, while attending training as needed.
