Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production-grade customer technical projects, including reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI model integration.
  • •Guide strategic customers through end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications, working with engagement managers to scope delivery.
  • •Provide architecture and design guidance to customers, and bootstrap/implement initiatives that drive Databricks understanding and adoption.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Collaborate with internal Databricks teams and customer stakeholders to deliver engagement technical components and feed product/implementation feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript with modern frameworks.
  • •Working knowledge of at least two cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in one.
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
