Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the MI Team to produce, coordinate, and issue an accurate ServCo entity MI pack and Expenses ExCo Pack monthly against agreed timetables.
  • •Assist with month-end processes, including ensuring intercompany positions are accurately reflected and supporting the production and reporting of monthly management and annual statutory accounts.
  • •Reconcile IFRS 17 expenses with the Service Company ledger and ensure ServCo positions are correct in the ledger, including reconciling splits between Expenses & Income, BAU & Projects.
  • •Provide MI for capital monitoring and contribute to improving MI reporting to meet evolving management requirements.
  • •Assist with automating MI using Power BI, liaise with the wider Expenses team to understand expense drivers, and support ad-hoc reporting deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Newly or part-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • •A finance background with accounting/technical experience.
  • •Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • •High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • •Good computer literacy including MS Office (especially Excel) and General Ledgers; Oracle Cloud ledger and EPBCS familiarity is an advantage.
