Job Summary

Provide legal advice and support to the Aluminum division, reporting to the General Counsel. Handle a range of legal matters including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts; supporting regulatory compliance and risk mitigation; and advising on business operations. Develop and communicate legal policies and procedures across Maaden to ensure alignment with the corporate business plan, while staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
•Develop and implement legal strategy and a business plan aligned to organizational objectives and goals.
•Formulate and communicate legal policies and procedures across Maaden to safeguard compliance and business alignment.
•Provide regular and ad hoc legal consultation and advisory services to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
•Assist with development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures, and stay current on laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Law (and/or MBA) from a reputable university.
•6 years’ experience in corporate legal work, with at least 2 years at Legal Counsel Associate level.
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
•Proficient in legal research, writing, and contract/document drafting.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
