Job Summary

Design and implement data centre infrastructure solutions as a technical architect within pre-sales. You’ll translate business requirements into scalable, secure architectures covering servers, storage, networking, power/cooling, and physical security, while advising on long-term capacity plans. Partner with cross-functional teams and the sales organization to support proof-of-concepts, pricing and RFP/RFI responses, and produce detailed technical documentation. Use virtualization and network architecture technologies to meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement end-to-end data centre architectures covering servers, storage, networking, power and cooling, and physical security.
•Evaluate and recommend data centre services aligned to business needs, ensuring security and compliance standards.
•Analyse and develop long-term plans to meet current and future data centre requirements.
•Design and optimize network architectures to ensure they are scalable and secure, including virtualization-based approaches.
•Support pre-sales with client proof-of-concepts, technical documentation, and RFP/RFI responses while guiding sales teams on deal closure and forecasting.

Key Requirements

•Comprehensive knowledge of data centre infrastructure components, networking technologies, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
•Understanding of data centre security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.
•Proficiency designing and implementing network architectures including LAN, WAN, and virtual networking.
•Expertise in server and storage technologies such as blade servers, SAN, NAS, and backup and recovery.
•A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or information systems.
