Key Responsibilities

•Developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs.
•Performing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customer’s approved equivalent.
•Coordinating with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate Safety Review Board authorities.
•Working across all integrated product teams to eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
•Collaborating with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal backgrounds.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with risk assessment concepts, such as those in MIL-STD 882E.
•Experience writing technical reports and presentations.
•The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
