Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide professional obstetric and gynecology clinical services, including patient care in clinics, delivery room, and emergency consultation.
  • •Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations, and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring with appropriate action.
  • •Provide surgical care in the operating room and OPD for gynecologic and obstetric conditions, for both emergency and planned procedures.
  • •Monitor clinical risks and established indicators to support ongoing quality assurance, strict infection control, and patient safety.
  • •Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable DOH requirements, including patient education, consent, and data submission.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience at Specialist level, independent of country.
  • •At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
  • •Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Certification and registration in a specialty recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
