Own end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) accounting activities, including month-end/year-end close, general ledger accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit support, internal controls, reporting, and process improvement. Apply US GAAP and Local GAAP requirements, investigate variances and unusual balances, and partner cross-functionally across Corporate Accounting, Tax, IT, and business stakeholders. Drive automation using tools like Excel, VBA, Power Query, Power BI, SAP, Blackline, and RPA.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform month-end and year-end close for US GAAP and Local GAAP reporting, including preparing and posting journal entries across cash/bank, accruals, fixed assets, and lease accounting
•Maintain general ledger records and prepare balance sheet reconciliations; investigate reconciling items, aging balances, open items, and unusual movements
•Support fixed asset activities (capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements/disposals/impairments, physical counts) and review/reconcile lease accounting in line with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 where relevant
•Support audits (US GAAP, local statutory, internal) by preparing schedules and ensuring assigned processes are audit-ready, documented, and compliant
•Drive automation and continuous improvement by assessing R2R processes, recommending improvements, and supporting initiatives using Excel/VBA, Power Query/Power BI, SAP/Blackline, and RPA

Key Requirements

•4 to 7+ years of relevant accounting experience in Record to Report, general ledger, fixed assets, lease accounting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial reporting
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP with exposure to Local GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting
•Hands-on experience with SAP and reconciliation tools such as Blackline (preferred)
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
•Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent; ACCA or CPA (or equivalent) preferred
